Easter 2007: A Beautiful Collision
By CRCC | April 7, 2007
Life is full of collisions and most of the time they are anything but beautiful. But in the event of Easter, a beautiful collision occurred. It was the collision of hate and love, sin and grace, death and life. It was the collision of our hopes with all that is wrong in the world. It was the collision of Christ and his cross and those who saw Jesus crucified saw all the ugliness that comes with such a violent crash. They felt the collision, too, as their hopes and hearts shattered into pieces in response.
But almost unimaginably, the last word of this collision was not their despair, nor their pain, nor their loss, but the joy, and comfort, and gain of pure beauty, of Easter. Because of this beautiful collision the last word in your life can be beauty as well. Come and experience the beauty of Easter, come and be part of a beautiful collision.
